The Electromechanical Engineer is essential to product success in Design, Development, Support, and Training. The Engineer will work closely with the Sales and Leadership Team to support strategic product initiatives associated with the Marking business unit. These areas include but are not limited to product development and support, product demonstrations, customer training, and production support.


  • Support research and development of new products in cooperation with other business functions, including mechanical and electrical designs.
  • Become a subject matter expert and provide pre-and post-sales support in the operation and basic maintenance of the Marking product line.
  • Provide customer application and sales phone support as well as post-sales support through onsite visits.
  • Support engineer to order fixturing design and sourcing.
  • Support creation and improvement of documentation and processes.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of work experience in engineering or other technical disciplines.
  • Basic Mechatronics, control, or automation experience a plus.
  • Previous experience in applications with capital equipment or other complex electromechanical equipment is highly preferred.
  • Significant experience with 2D, 3D drafting/modeling software required.

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to take challenges head-on.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent computer skills a must.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are required.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% (customer training and support).
