The Channel Marketing Specialist will be primarily responsible for directing and coordinating strategic marketing activities to achieve revenue objectives through various channels of distribution. This role will have responsibility for the messaging, promotion, and new product plans for solutions within the Milling Business Unit. This role will be highly engaged with various members of the Dapra Leadership Team.


  • Oversee the creation, design, and implementation of the Channel marketing plans to ensure Dapra brand impact is maximized in alignment with sales objectives.
  • Review brand and product messaging and tactics to make sure they comply with overall channel strategy and make recommendations on improvements for a better customer experience within specific accounts.
  • Collaborate with Channel Partners to develop and execute co-marketing campaigns that drive sales across our product portfolio.
  • Work very closely with external marketing resources and the internal product team to conceptualize, develop, and execute content creation and strategies.
  • Support activities associated with E-Commerce objectives for both Dapra and Channel Partners.
  • Identify trends in partner and competitor activity to anticipate long-term needs as well as potential risks in order to propose appropriate creative marketing solutions as needed.
  • Tracking program/promotional effectiveness and recommend changes and improvements as required.
  • Learn and understand the channel P&L to make sound business decisions in order to influence revenue results.
  • Plan and support various events, as needed, including vendor days, customer appreciation days, and trade shows.

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum BA/BS Degree with 3-5 years of marketing experience.
  • Distribution ecosystem experience preferred, with a track record of working closely with channel partners.
  • Strategic thinking, ability to define a vision, set goals, objectives, and work across virtual teams.
  • Digital marketing experience a plus, including data-driven analysis.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Customer-focused, responsive, and action-oriented, while maintaining a positive, professional image as customer-facing brand representative of Dapra.
  • Experience using various computer applications including Microsoft Office 365, Adobe Suite, and CRM tools preferred; graphic design experience a plus.
  • Effective project management skills; strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail; strong multi-tasking ability as well as ability to manage deadlines in a dynamic, fast-paced work environment.
  • Demonstrates the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the business.
  • Self-motivated individual who strives for excellence and continuous improvement through the use of problem-solving skills.
  • Travel Ability: 10-15% travel (local, regional, and national).
