Reporting into the Operations organization, the Business Operations Lead position will work across Dapra's entire matrix of divisions and functions. The ideal candidate is a team player who will be engaged across various business areas. Responsibilities include supporting both customer service and various operational functions, creating robust documented processes, developing reporting metrics, and realizing cross-functional improvements. The position role would play a key role in the strategic efforts of the business.

Note: This role is located in our Bloomfield, Connecticut office. This is not classified as remote.


  • Support requests from both external customers and field sales team for pricing, order entry, order expedite, order status, and follow-up.
  • Collaborate with other functions to ensure a smooth transition of orders through the system to final shipment, including follow-up to ensure information is appropriately processed and the customer is satisfied.
  • Provide support to both purchasing and manufacturing for logistics (including procurement, pricing, inventory control, etc.) to ensure order fulfillment requirements.
  • Troubleshoot customer service issues, support other customer service team members, and provide recommendations to root cause resolution.
  • Ensure pricing models and plan discounts are accurate and applied to various customers correctly.
  • Develop business-level processes to improve overall efficiency.
  • Coordinate and backfill coverage, when required, for customer service and other operational functions.
  • Direct collaboration with both the CEO and CFO on project-based activities.
  • Other additional administrative tasks, as requested.

Education and Experience:

  • BA/BS Degree or 5+ years of administration, project management, customer service, and/or purchasing experience.
  • Experience and track record of managing multiple tasks with an operational mindset.
  • Strong managerial skills.

Additional Qualifications:

  • Experience in Industrial Manufacturing industries is a plus.
  • Exposure to Accounting a plus.
  • Familiarity with desktop software such as MS Office, CRM, and ERP systems.
  • Energetic and positive disposition with a willingness to learn new tasks and thrive with working in a high-volume, evolving environment.
